Plot

An epic drama set thousands of years before J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Hobbit”; and 'The Lord of the Rings' follows an ensemble of both familiar and new characters as they face the long-feared return of evil to Middle-earth. "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" actors and other actors who completely transformed themselves for their roles. Tolkien’s “The Hobbit”; and 'The Lord of the Rings' novels was to make the series a new final adaptation (actually a retelling of Gospodara prstenova: Prstenova družina (2001), Gospodara prstenova: Dvije kule (2002) and Gospodar prstenova: Povratak kralja (2003), but the Tolkien estate rejected this proposal.

Amazon eventually acquired rights on the condition that the series differ from Peter Jackson’s previous adaptations and that they could not conflict with what Tolkien had previously written.Original ideas proposed included backstory with characters such as Aragorn, Gimli and Gandalf, but the showrunners chose to focus on important, untold events from the novels, rather than mere side stories, so they agreed with the studio that the series would take place during the Second Age. ; and ‘History of Middle-earth’ (which explores the first and second ages), they examined the Lord of the Rings novels and appendices to find passages and references to the second age that they could incorporate into their story. They consulted with the estate and several experts on Tolkien’s history (including a grandson). King Durin III is incorrectly listed as “Durin II” in the multi-language dubbing credits.

The original titles are a musical sequence of various form-forming substances based on the "Ainur music" creation myth from J.R.R. featured in The Critical Drinker: The Rings of Power – War For A Fandom (2022). Unpleasant characters. A plot with huge logic flaws.

If only they would direct some of that budget to a strong writing team

Twists that were so obvious we saw them the moment the twist characters were introduced. The only thing that was surprising was that the writers threw out what was already in the books to make this happen. For me, it ended up being another reboot that was not only terrible, but spit on its predecessors. I will say this, or at least the visuals looked worthy of these shows' huge budget.
